**Car traffic flows in Malmö** The purpose of this report is to report current traffic volumes on Malmö's streets. At the same time, changes over time should be easily visible in the report. Data on traffic volumes has been collected by the City of Malmö since 1967. It is important to keep in mind that there are factors that can affect the measurement results when studying traffic flows (e.g. road works, relocation of local buses, major reconstructions, speed changes and the introduction of traffic calming measures). Traffic flows have also been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially data from 2020. The report is an excerpt compiled from the Property and Street Office's traffic database in which measured traffic volumes have been continuously stored each year. **Attributes of measurement locations** * `pg_id [unik identifierare för varje mätplats]` * `pg_nummer [???]` * `gatunamn [gata där mätning genomförts]` * `delsträcka [position där mätningen genomförts]` * `rikt_1 [???]` * `rikt_2 [???]` * `senaste [???]` * `geometry [typ: MultiLineString, CRS: WGS84]` **Attribute metrics** * `pg_id [unik identifierare för varje mätplats]` * `year [mätår]` * `mvd [medelvardagsdygnstrafik¹]` * `max_fm [motorfordon/timme under förmiddagens maxtimme]` * `max_em [motorfordon/timme under eftermiddagens maxtimme]` * `andel_tung [motorfordon med vikt över 3,5 i procent av den totala trafiken²]` * `medelhast [medelhastighet för den totala trafiken²]` * `senaste [???]` ¹ Average traffic during weekdays during a given period of time for all motor vehicles in both directions. The average value is calculated based on measurements for Tuesday-Thursday, weekends and public holidays. ² Applies to traffic in both directions.
**Bicycle flows in Malmö** The purpose of this traffic volume compilation is to report current moped and bicycle traffic volumes in Malmö. At the same time, changes should be easily readable since data on traffic volumes is available from 1994 onwards. It is important to keep in mind that there are factors that can affect the measurement results when studying traffic data, especially when only one day is counted (e.g. road works, major reconstruction, weather). There is only one data point from 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Traffic flows from 2021 have also been shown to be affected by the pandemic. The report is an excerpt compiled from the Property and Street Office's traffic database in which measured traffic volumes have been continuously stored each year. **Attributes of measurement locations** * `pg_id [unik identifierare för varje mätplats]` * `pg_nummer [???]` * `gatunamn [gata där mätning genomförts]` * `delsträcka [position där mätningen genomförts]` * `sida [sida/sidor av gatan för vilka mätvärdena gäller¹]` * `senaste [???]` * `geometry [typ: MultiLineString, CRS: WGS84]` **Attribute metrics** * `pg_id [unik identifierare för varje mätplats]` * `year [mätår]` * `vardagsdygn [vardagsdygnstrafik²]` * `senaste [???]` ¹ For example, both sides or just the pedestrian/cycle path. ² Traffic counts are carried out during autumn and spring, on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 06-09 and 15-18. The number of mopeds, scooters and bicycles is counted in both directions. Using a coefficient system, the values are converted to _Weekday Traffic_ , which means that the values contain a certain uncertainty.
